Job summary

Tom Barrow Company, a premier HVAC equipment distributor, seeks a Warehouse Associate to support daily material handling, receiving, inventory, and shipping in a fast-paced environment. You will operate forklifts, maintain accurate records, assist with cycle counts, and collaborate with team members to ensure on-time orders and safe, organized warehouse operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform warehouse tasks safely.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with cycle counts, returns, and stock replenishment.
• Support team members and other departments as needed.
