Job summary

C&L Supply is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to keep products moving through the Springfield branch by receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, stocking inventory and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.

You will work as part of a hands-on team where accuracy, efficiency and safety matter daily, with opportunities to learn forklift operation and broader warehouse processes. This role is based in Missouri and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of warehouse or related experience.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound freight, shipping, receiving and order fulfillment.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders and branch transfers.
• Load, unload, move and stock products efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products and quantities for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through product counts and discrepancy reporting.
• Prepare products for shipment and ensure orders are properly secured and documented.
• Operate forklifts, warehouse tools and material handling equipment safely.
• Follow established procedures, safety requirements and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Identify and report safety hazards or inventory discrepancies.
• Work closely with branch team members to keep orders and products moving efficiently.
• Support customers, vendors and other branch locations with accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires approximately 40–43 hours per week and involves routine physical activity, including:

• Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. occasionally), and pushing/pulling loads up to 300 lbs.
• Operation of forklifts and material handling equipment for extended periods (up to 6 hours daily)
• Regular bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and sustained use of hands, arms, and feet
• Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift
