Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate for our branch at 405 Technology Dr, South Point, OH 45680. You will handle inventory, receive and package orders, and may perform local deliveries as needed. The role offers a schedule Mon–Fri with 7:00am–5:00pm shifts and 10–28 hours per week.

The position emphasizes accurate inventory control, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Training and onboarding are provided to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and driving record requirements.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing.
• Self-directed with customer-service orientation.
• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen where required.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 405 Technology Dr, South Point, OH 45680. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitiesHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Work independently as well as in a team environment

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
