Job summary

Fastenal Co. in South Point, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our branch at 405 Technology Dr. You will manage inventory, perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counts, and may perform local deliveries using a company vehicle.

This is a full-time role with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance goals. Required are a valid driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, ability to multitask, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Full-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 405 Technology Dr, South Point, OH 45680. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
