DSG is seeking a Warehouse Associate in our Sioux Falls, SD Waterworks location. This full-time, hourly position involves work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional variations based on business needs. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including but not limited to: order pulling, shipping & receiving, product storage, shipment preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean, organized environment.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate at DSG:

• Accurately pull materials to fulfill orders
• Pack, label, and organize orders for delivery
• Operate gas and electric forklifts and riders
• Use wire measuring/cutting machines, cut wire to length, and manage racks
• Operate pipe machines, cutting pipes to specified lengths
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting shelves, and trash disposal
• Maintain proficiency with computerized systems and technologies
• Handle warehouse calls as needed
• Use computers or RF scanners to track product status and location
• Report inventory shortages or overages
• Assist with loading delivery trucks
• Support receiving operations as workload permits
• Inspect trucks before delivery for safety and roadworthiness
• Communicate with team members regarding loading and issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

A Successful Warehouse Associate Typically Has:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience or knowledge in product, warehouse, or delivery operations
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Safety training in material handling and forklift operation
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
• Experience with computers and related technology
