Warehouse Associate

The team member in this position checks trucks in and out using WMS and is responsible for the quality and efficiency of trailer loading/unloading, including pallet handling. The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. Responsibilities include checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross-country shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Essential Functions
  • Receive all inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, materials, deliveries, water transfer, etc.
  • Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock.
  • Process RMAs.
  • Consolidate finished goods for storage efficiency.
  • Identify, report, and observe quality issues.
  • Validate new SKUs in WMS for proper LGV handling.
  • Correct LGV alarms.
  • Monitor loads and unload finished goods/raw materials with a forklift.
  • Maintain pallet storage and stage pallets for LGV pickup.
  • Correct product spills.
  • Pull pallets manually as needed and supply production with non-inventory items.
  • Load air bags, clear blocked locations in WMS, and operate forklifts when required.
  • Facilitate flow of information between logistics, production, and sales.
  • Test and monitor resin and spring water.
  • Coordinate preload activities and trailer inspections.
  • Check trucks and communicate loading instructions.
  • Provide loading documents, bills of lading, and truck seals.
  • Maintain records for shipping and inventory control.
  • Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
  • Communicate effectively via phone and in person with internal and external contacts.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years in manufacturing or related environment, with experience managing people/projects.
