Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate in our Sarasota area location to support daily warehouse operations. You will greet customers, pick tickets, load/unload trucks, and use handheld RF scanners to move and track products within the TWL system.

Position requires ability to lift up to 70 pounds, a strong customer-service mindset, and the willingness to work with a team to meet deadlines. CDL reimbursement and other benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High integrity and high energy.
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business.
• Strong, positive attitude.

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
