Job summary

CoreFleet Solutions is seeking two reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team on a temporary W-2 basis at a client facility in San Jose, CA. This onsite role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You'll receive, inspect, and verify shipments, pick and pack orders, operate pallet jacks, and support inventory audits while following safety protocols and California labor law. The position offers hourly pay and a short-term duration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout shift.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for outbound shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory and maintain proper storage locations.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure items are labeled and stored correctly.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment; forklift operators welcome.
• Follow company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
• Support returns processing as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

COMPENSATION & DETAILS

• Pay: $25–$28/hour, based on experience
• Temporary W-2 position — 1 to 3 months in duration
• Not benefits-eligible (health insurance not included)
• Overtime paid in full compliance with California labor law
• All required meal and rest breaks provided
• Workers’ compensation coverage included
