Job summary

Aramsco, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in San Diego to join our distribution team. You will locate, count, receive, store, and ship merchandise, prepare customer orders, and run daily cycle counts using RF scanners.

The role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse, forklift certification, the ability to lift 75+ lbs, and fluent English; Spanish is a plus. You will work on a fast-paced schedule in a safety-conscious environment with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 -3 year’s work experience in a warehouse setting.
• Trained and certified material handler to operate lifting machinery such as Reach Trucks and Forklifts.
• Experience with Cycle Counts and RF Scanner.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions.
• Capable of speaking and communicating well with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal.
• Good physical health is required.
• Associates will often need to work at a rapid pace to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory locating, counting, receiving, storing, stocking and shipping merchandise.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, palletize, and convey orders to packing station.
• Receive and count in-coming daily freight and properly record into system.
• Sort and store materials on racks per product code.
• Review and resolve discrepancies regarding freight claims.
• Update product maintenance locations daily.
• Complete cycle counts daily.
• Inspect and process returns into warehouse.
• Respond to queues in a timely manner.
• Load or unload merchandise during receiving or shipping.
• Operate company equipment safely at all times.
• Assist in daily warehouse maintenance, cleaning and trash removal.
