Job summary

Thrift City in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.

Duties include transporting material, loading/unloading from trucks, operating a compactor daily, moving goods within the storage area, and ensuring loads are secure. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, stand for 6-8 hours, and be flexible with shifts.

• Experience with loading/unloading shipments.
• Ability to maneuver heavy loads and operate pallet jack safely.

Job description

Thrift City San Antonio is looking for a Warehouse Associate to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.

Loading and unloading goods from trucks.

Operating compactor on a daily basis.

Moving goods around the storage facility.

Checking and ensuring loads are secure.

Performing daily equipment checks.

Must be able to use a Pallet Jack

Requirements:

Frequently lift up to 100 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time.

At least 18 years of age.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. and stand for up to 6-8 hours per shift. Schedule :

• 6 to 8 hour shift
• 35 – 40hours per week
• Monday to Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pm
