Job summary

Bridgestone HosePower LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to receive, organize, store, pull and ship merchandise used for customer orders. You will assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose with guidance and assist customers at the retail counter with hose repair and order processing.

The role requires prior industrial warehouse experience, forklift operation, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Able to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
• Team player and detail-focused.
• Accurate handling of transactions.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items.
• Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouse.
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
• Display merchandise and advise customers on selections and benefits.
• Discuss uses and features and recommend based on needs.
• Resolve inventory issues or customer concerns with guidance.
• Assemble and build hoses to specifications and standards.
• Uphold environmental health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Receives, organizes, stores, pulls and ships merchandise/supplies used to fulfill customer orders. Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose upon receiving proper training and guidance. Assist customers on Bridgestone HosePower’s retail counter with guidance, hose repair and order processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items
• Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouse
• Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations
• Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility
• Discusses use and features of various parts; able to make recommendations based on needs
• Resolves or alerts management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns
• Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to appropriate specifications and standards
• Upholds environmental health and safety standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.
