JOB SUMMARY

Value Plus Flooring is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves receiving, storing, distributing, and delivering materials, tools, equipment, and products accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review customer, install, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, stocked, or distributed.
• Receive product deliveries and record in the company system.
• Convey materials from receiving areas to storage or shipping areas, assist customers with loading will-call orders.
• Sort and store items by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Load and unload trucks, drive or ride in trucks, and deliver orders.
• Store flammable and hazardous goods in designated areas.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute accordingly.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer orders.
• Operate material handling equipment to transport stored items.
• Complete assigned projects and tasks to support warehouse operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Willingness to learn safety inspections and operate material handling equipment (training provided).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to learn company software.
• Ability to operate floor cutting machines (training provided).

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods, reach, move within the warehouse, handle documents, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds, and discern differences in quality.
