Job summary

Abatix is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Round Rock location to keep operations running smoothly by handling shipping and receiving, pulling inventory, and verifying shipments. You will represent Abatix with professionalism in every interaction.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, forklift operation, order verification, inventory counting, assisting customers, and occasional deliveries in the Austin area. Growth opportunities and day shift pay apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Abatix is growing! We're looking for a service-minded Warehouse Associate to join our Round Rock location!

As an Abatix Warehouse Associate, you’ll be essential to keeping our operations running smoothly by managing shipping and receiving, pulling inventory, and verifying the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments. We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with both people and products, and who will represent Abatix with professionalism and a positive attitude in every interaction.

Pay rate: $20 - $24/hr | Monday - Friday | Day shift

Job Description

• Receive and pick orders for customers
• Load and unload vehicle
• Verify the contents of orders against shipping papers
• Safely operate a forklift
• Count stock items and record data into computer system
• Assist customers with loading merchandise
• Make deliveries in the Austin area in a box truck or van as needed

Job Requirements

• A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
• 1+ yearof warehouse experience in a wireless environment preferred
• Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Teams, Office)
• A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
• Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
• Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
