Job summary

One Hour Heating, Ben Franklin Plumbing, & Mister Sparky Electric in Ramsey, MN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and trade operations. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory, and keeping the workspace safe and organized.

The role requires use of hand tools and forklift equipment, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to operate and learn our computer system.
• Must have 1-2 years successful experience in warehouse position or equivalent.

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Operations Manager

DIVISION: Operations

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

LOCATION: Ramsey, MN.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate with experience supporting daily warehouse and trade operations. Skilled in receiving, stocking, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading materials, maintaining inventory, and keeping work areas safe and organized. Comfortable using hand tools, moving equipment, and following safety procedures. Dependable team player with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.

• Safely and properly operate forklift to unload trucks and stock equipment in warehouse.
• Empty Trash and help maintain a clean warehouse
• Periodically help stock, organize and clean trucks and vans
• Empty cardboard and trash daily into the dumpsters
• Must be able to send and receive emails on the computer
• Communicate effectively with vendors
• Must help us manage inventory controls as they relate to proper ordering processes, having an address or PO, properly locking down tools, etc.
• Understand and follows the parts ordering procedures in a timely manner.
• Must help follow and enforce supporting the parts process by handing in parts receipts/packing slips and have corresponding job numbers written on them.
• Assist in maintaining vehicle service as needed
• Work directly with vendors to discuss pricing, procedures, concerns, etc.
• Delivery of parts and equipment to technicians in the field
• Must be able to lift 40-50lbgs regularly
• Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely and properly
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude
• Each team member is a leader set the tone for the service department through your approach to your role
• Obeys the Northern Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.

MUST WORK TO MEET OR EXCEED INDUSTRY BENCHMARKS BELOW:

• Must maintain a pulling accurate on jobs of 98% or better. KPI
• When delivering parts and equipment, must maintain 20 minutes or less on the job, unless approved to help on the job.

MINIMUM TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Must have clean driving record
• Must have ability to lift 40-50lbs.
• Must be able to operate and learn our computer system .
• Must have 1-2 years successful experience in warehouse position or have general labor experience.
• Willing to invest in yourself for self-improvement in your craft.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
