Job summary

Acme Tools in Plymouth, MN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. The role is full-time with a 40-hour schedule, operating within our Plymouth facility and surrounding locations.

You’ll unload freight, verify orders, scan items, and maintain stock while ensuring a safe, organized warehouse. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and a range of benefits for a family‑oriented, community-minded company.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Willingness to work with powered equipment (forklift, etc.).
• Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment.
• Compare received goods with packing slips, inspect for damage, and report discrepancies.
• Scan or enter product into inventory systems and maintain stock on shelves.
• Transport inventory between warehouse and store locations using manual or motorized equipment.
• Participate in inventory events and prepare shipments for customers or other locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Schedule:Full-time hours (40 hours/week) during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm and Saturday 8am-5:30pm

Your Day-to-Day:As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be a key part of our distribution team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment
• Comparing good received and packing slips for order accuracy, inspecting for any damage, and notifying your supervisor of any discrepancies
• Scanning or entering product into the inventory control system or related computer program
• Maintaining consistent and adequate stock of product on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly condition
• Using manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between the warehouse and store locations
• Participating in scheduled inventory events (physical inventory counts, etc.)
• Preparing shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations
• Accurately picking items from customers’ orders, shipping orders, or requisitions, preparing shipments, and loading products onto trucks, trailers, or customers’ vehicles
• Occasionally driving a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or to pick up items from various locations
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety
• Helping with property maintenance (lawn care, snow removal, etc.)
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
• Completing related tasks as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
