Job summary

Matthews International in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to support the arrival, storage and delivery of memorialization products in our Distribution HUB. The role involves loading/unloading caskets, preparing for deliveries, scanning orders and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7am–2pm, approx.

25–29 hours weekly, starting pay $20/hour. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year warehouse experience; weekend

Job description

Matthews International is seeking committed, hardworking Full - Time Warehouse Associate to work in our Indianapolis, IN Distribution HUB for our Service Center within our memorialization business segment. The Warehouse Associate will be performing all functions for the arrival, departure and delivery of specific products within our memorialization business segment including the loading, unloading and inventory process.

This job will be responsible for unloading, loading, new caskets on and off of our Vehicles as well as preparing them for deliveries and assisting in the warehouse.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 2pm.
Weekly Hours: 25 - 29 hours per week.
Starting Pay: $20 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be loading an unloading caskets and other memorialization products from our various production facilities.
• Preparing products for delivery and unloading products to be stored in our warehouse.
• Scanning products, pulling correct orders and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
• Ability to work weekends on occasion.
