Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Pittsburgh to join our logistics team. You will handle inbound/outbound functions, ensuring accurate receiving, put-away, and timetabled order fulfillment in a safe environment.

You’ll operate RF Gun, pick tickets, carton packing, and maintain an orderly workspace. The role requires basic computer skills, ability to read English instructions, and readiness to work overtime and lift up to 60lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is strongly desired.
• Basic computer skills, MS Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to execute daily tasks.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and basic math ability.
• Highly organized with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards.
• Overtime availability during the work week and weekends per attendance policy.
• Capable of standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, count, and sort merchandise by location, product number, and description.
• Store merchandise on shelves by style, size, color, or material type.
• Replenish active locations to ensure orders can be fulfilled promptly.
• Print and sort pick tickets to fulfill orders and match with packing lists and labels.
• Construct boxes to required sizes and label/ship them on the conveyor line.
• Use RF Gun and/or Pick Pack Sheet to pick customer orders accurately.
• Audit random orders to ensure 100% quality.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations per company and OSHA guidelines.
• Identify process improvements and communicate them to leadership.
• Collaborate with the team to meet productivity goals efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Warehouse Associate at GALLS, you will be responsible for all aspects of Inbound/Outbound functions to ensure that the product is received and put away in the warehouse so that all received orders can be filled in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Receive product, count, and sort merchandise by location, product number, and description
• Store merchandise on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, color, or type of material
• Replenish active locations with product to ensure orders can be fulfilled promptly
• Print and sort pick tickets according to the designated area of the warehouse to fulfill orders and match up with the packing list and carton shipping label
• Construct boxes according to the size required for the order, and place appropriate documentation and labels on/in the box, and place them on the conveyor line for fulfillment of orders
• Utilize tools available (RF Gun and/or Pick Pack Sheet) to efficiently pick customer orders for shipment while assuring correct items and quantities are picked
• Audit (random) complete orders to assure 100% quality
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety . Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace
• Actively seek to develop process/quality improvements and communicate them to leadership
• Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately
• Other duties may be assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is strongly desired
• Basic computer skills, experience with MS Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to read orders accurately
• Proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Highly organized and strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards
• Ability to work overtime during the work week and weekends, while complying with GALLS' attendance policy
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time, working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and lifting up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
