CORT is hiring immediately for Warehouse Associates in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports loading/unloading trucks, order fulfillment, furniture processing, and on-site warehouse maintenance to keep rental-ready inventory for events.

This position offers hourly pay around $20, weekly pay, paid training, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and company-paid disability and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred; priority consideration for more experience.
• Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Physically able to move furniture; lift 50+ pounds regularly or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Able to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with care to prevent damage.
• Pick, stage, and prepare items for delivery or transfers.
• Clean, touch up, repair, or wrap furniture to rental-ready condition.
• Assemble or disassemble furniture as needed.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse and handle waste.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Tag, store, and organize products per procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and daily warm-ups.
• Assist drivers on deliveries as needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for Warehouse Associates in Phoenix, AZ!
CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with various warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, processing furniture, and maintaining the warehouse. This role ensures that furniture is rental-ready for events, tradeshows, or transfers to other districts. The Warehouse Associate will be cross-trained in all aspects of warehousing and may fill different roles based on daily business needs.

Pay

$20 / hour depending on experience

Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business, weekends are required

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading Trucks: Load and unload trucks, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, and prepare items for customer delivery or district transfers.
• Furniture Processing: Clean, touch up, repair, or wrap furniture to ensure it is rental-ready or properly protected for storage.
• Furniture Assembly: Assemble or dissemble furniture pieces as needed.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
• Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy, relocating products as needed.
• Inventory Handling: Tag, store, and organize products in the warehouse according to procedures.
• Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.
