Job summary

IES is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Driver in Florida to support receiving, inventory, picking, packing and shipping. You will operate forklifts, load/unload deliveries, and maintain clean, organized storage areas in a fast-paced environment.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year warehouse experience, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and forklift certification is preferred. This role requires safe work practices and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred; HVAC/Plumbing knowledge is a plus.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material as needed.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for customer delivery or transfer.
• Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including frequent mounting and dismounting.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders.
• Ensure products are labeled and stored according to company standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Comfortable working on feet for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures (heat and cold), noise, and dust.

• Fast-paced environment with frequent movement and activity.

• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
