Job summary

Warehouse Associate – General Job Description

Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift (8:00‑4:30)

Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and distribution operations in a regulated, safety-sensitive environment. This role involves material handling, order preparation, and adherence to strict safety and operational procedures. Reliability, attention to detail, and compliance with safety standards are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, stage, and move materials within the warehouse
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Handle materials in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including spill prevention
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred or required)
  • Inspect materials for damage, leaks, or discrepancies
  • Accurately complete basic documentation and inventory records
  • Report safety concerns, spills, or near‑misses immediately
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Safety & Compliance Requirements
  • Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Zero tolerance for unsafe handling or procedural shortcuts
  • Compliance with chemical handling, spill response, and containment protocols
Attendance & Reliability Expectations
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is required
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts reliably
  • Advance notice required for absences when foreseeable
Qualifications

Physical Requirements
