Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Newark, NJ is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team at our headquarters.

You will receive, stock, pick, pack, and ship plumbing and HVAC materials for our commercial projects, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, organizing stock, performing regular inventory checks, and maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/stocking experience.
• Experience in plumbing or HVAC supply is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive loading.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. The Warehouse Associate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and vendor shipments quickly, safely, and accurately
• Receiving, processing, and organizing incoming plumbing and HVAC merchandise
• Storing materials in designated locations to maintain an efficient layout
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders and parts for our commercial projects
• Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy
• Collaborating with management to flag and resolve any stock or order discrepancies
• Any other tasks assigned by manager

What We Are Looking For

• Industry Knowledge: Minimum 1 year of warehouse/stocking experience, with specific experience in Plumbing or HVAC supply required
• Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and comfortably handle the repetitive loading/unloading of freight
• Detail-Oriented: Proficient in reading numerical data, verifying packing slips against shipments, and following instructions accurately
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to maintaining warehouse safety protocols

Compensation

$18.00 - $20.00 / Opportunity for Overtime Weekly

• After 40 Hours Overtime Rate: $28.50 - $30.00

• Protanal to Earn: $988.00 – $1,040.00 Gross Per Week
