Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate at our Mooresville, NC location. You will help manage inventory, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and support the branch’s daily operations.

The role requires reliability, basic driving eligibility, and the ability to work a schedule that includes daytime shifts. On-site duties include maintaining a safe workspace and supporting customer service goals.

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Warehouse Associate, where you're at the heart of our operations. You'll not only handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility, but you'll dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 113 Denver Business Park Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
