Job summary

Freight Handlers in Montowese, CT is hiring for a 3rd shift warehouse associate. Unload trailers, break down and restack pallets, and move 25–80 lb loads with powered equipment as needed. Earn $19–$25+ per hour with weekly pay and full benefits.

This hands-on role requires safety-conscious teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse. Training provided for forklift and pallet jack operation; candidates should be able to lift, walk, bend, and twist throughout the shift, and be ready for weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is preferred (order picking, forklift, etc.) but not required.
• Ability to lift, walk, bend, and twist most of the workday.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Reliable and willing to work scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and restack pallets.
• Operate forklifts & powered pallet jacks (training provided).
• Move 25–80 lb cases and manage 50–200+ pallets daily.
• Work in temperatures from -20°F to 110°F.
• Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat for most of the shift.
