Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a warehouse associate. You will operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials, inspect and track inventory, and maintain a safe, clean yard in all weather.

You should have warehouse experience, a customer‑first mindset, reliable transportation for early morning shifts, and ideally Spanish bilingual ability.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written interactions with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard.
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and contribute to painting/cleaning tasks as needed.

What you'll do:

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting

What you’ll bring:

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours
