Job summary

Galco Industrial Electronics in Madison Heights, MI is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping tasks, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

The ideal candidate is computer-literate with good communications, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to operate in daytime shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have basic math skills (adding and subtracting).
• Warehousing experience is desirable.
• Lift Truck experience is desirable.

What we do:

Galco Industrial Electronics is an authorized distributor for over one million products from over 400 brands. We specialize in industrial, electrical and electronic automation, control and component solutions. Our distribution center stocks over 50,000 products and offers same day shipping and emergency service. We offer on-site and in-house repair services, as well as, engineering services which facilitate integration, retrofits and upgrades.

Required Education and Experience:

Warehousing experience is desirable (but not necessary)
Lift Truck experience is desirable
Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Must have basic math skills (adding and subtracting)

• Positions are currently full-time
• Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, you can expect to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. and 6:30p.m.
