Job summary

Wesco is hiring immediate Warehouse Associates in Georgia. You will perform typical warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance of assigned areas.

Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma, be willing to learn distribution techniques, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while standing for long periods. No experience required, with 1 year of warehouse operations preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required/ entry level.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments.
• Pick, pack and prepare items for shipping.
• Process and enter order receipts; handle log sheets.
• Relocate and consolidate material within the warehouse.
• Prepare and assemble packing lists; label and wrap outbound loads.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment as needed.

A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as general maintenance of assigned areas.

• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts
• Relocate and consolidate material
• Prepare and assemble packing lists
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks

Compensation Details

Compensation Details: $15.62 - $18.74 Per Hour. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. In addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.
