Job summary

GALLS is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support inbound/outbound operations and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment. You will receive products, count and sort merchandise, store items on shelves, replenish locations, and prepare shipments with proper packing and labeling.

Proficiency with MS Excel, reading and understanding English, and basic WMS knowledge are preferred. The role requires standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is strongly desired.
• Basic computer skills, MS Excel, and WMS familiarity preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive product, count, and sort merchandise by location, product number, and description.
• Store merchandise on shelves according to style, size, color, or material.
• Replenish active locations to ensure orders can be fulfilled promptly.
• Print and sort pick tickets to fulfill orders and match packing lists and labels.
• Construct boxes with documentation and labels for shipping and place on conveyor line.
• Utilize RF Gun and/or Pick Pack Sheet to pick orders with correct items and quantities.
• Audit random orders to ensure 100% quality.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Work safely and comply with OSHA and company regulations.
• Develop process/quality improvements and communicate them to leadership.
• Collaborate with team to meet productivity goals efficiently.
• Other duties may be assigned.

As a Warehouse Associate at GALLS, you will be responsible for all aspects of Inbound/Outbound functions to ensure that the product is received and put away in the warehouse so that all received orders can be filled in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Receive product, count, and sort merchandise by location, product number, and description
• Store merchandise on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, color, or type of material
• Replenish active locations with product to ensure orders can be fulfilled promptly
• Print and sort pick tickets according to the designated area of the warehouse to fulfill orders and match up with the packing list and carton shipping label
• Construct boxes according to the size required for the order, and place appropriate documentation and labels on/in the box, and place them on the conveyor line for fulfillment of orders
• Utilize tools available (RF Gun and/or Pick Pack Sheet) to efficiently pick customer orders for shipment while assuring correct items and quantities are picked
• Audit (random) complete orders to assure 100% quality
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety . Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace
• Actively seek to develop process/quality improvements and communicate them to leadership
• Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately
• Other duties may be assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is strongly desired
• Basic computer skills, experience with MS Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to read orders accurately
• Proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Highly organized and strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards
• Ability to work overtime during the work week and weekends, while complying with GALLS’ attendance policy
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time, working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, and lifting up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
