Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring Warehouse Associates to handle loose freight, perform order picking, and load/unload trucks at our Lexington distribution center. You will work with a team to move products safely and efficiently, following safety policies and company procedures.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to pass a background check and drug screen, and capable of performing physically demanding warehouse tasks in varying temperatures. Training provided and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, keeping in mind weight, size, and characteristics of product in mind.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Participate in keeping the facility maintained in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.
• Provide outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.

Summary

Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. Helpful Experience (Not Required):
