Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, print labels, and inspect products for accuracy. You will use equipment to prepare orders for shipping and receiving while meeting customer needs.

The role requires physical tasks, attention to detail, and basic computer skills. As a member of the team in Kenosha, WI, you will contribute to efficient, safe, and accurate outbound shipments and participate in inventory checks as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate forklift or order picker for picking orders as needed.
• Pack orders for shipments and affix proper shipping labels.
• Record order details and inspect packing quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report discrepancies.

Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, label printing and inspecting products for orders, and utilizing the specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.FunctionsPick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.May be required to operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets. Mark and label shipping boxes or products per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
