Job summary

Capstone Logistics is hiring for a warehouse associate in the Hopewell Junction, NY area. You will participate in pre-shift meetings, perform stretchercises, and support management while learning all facets of receiving, unloading, and loading operations.

You will coordinate with leadership, supervise yard marshalling duties, and help maintain consistent workflow to meet customer expectations. The role is fast-paced, physically demanding, and offers paid training plus growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• High-energy individual with strong work ethic and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move pallets and cases (25–75 lbs).
• Willingness to learn all aspects of receiving/unloading and loading operations.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred but training available.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift meetings and stretch/prepare for shift.
• Perform safety observations and support management.
• Provide coaching and training to team members.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and sites.
• Oversee yard marshalling duties and pallet movement.
• Ensure efficient workflow to meet customer expectations.
• Work solo or in teams with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with travel team when applicable.

The Opportunity:

Duties will be:

• Pre-Shift meetings
• Stretching exercises before each shift.
• Safety observations
• Support management
• Coaching
• Training
• Communication with leadership
• Plus all the yard marshalling duties

This is the next step in an associate's path to management
You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision
Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner
Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations
Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
  Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
