Job summary

Century Furniture LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a warehouse packer to prepare furniture for transport. You will retrieve packing supplies, apply protective wrap, and pack items into cartons or crates for shipping.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate forklift and cutting saws, follow safety rules, and maintain a clean, quality‑minded work area. Prior packing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous packing experience preferred.
• Experience with forklift, miter saw/chop saw, or squeeze lift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve packing supplies from storage as needed.
• Apply interior packing parts and wrap to product as directed.
• Pack product in carton or crates for shipping.
• Assemble skids for product as necessary.
• Ensure carton machine is stocked with cardboard.
• Communicate issues and safety concerns as they arise.
