Job summary

Cencora is seeking team members for a night-shift warehouse role in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The position focuses on managing temperature-sensitive materials, ensuring accurate inventory records, and maintaining shipment documentation.

Role requires adherence to safe handling practices and ability to work across multiple warehouse tasks. Responsibilities include preparing packaging for outbound shipments, coordinating material movements with warehouse equipment, and escalating any inventory issues

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging and shipping.
• Understanding of inventory control, stock movement, and traceability requirements.
• Experience with temperature-sensitive handling and cold chain support for sensitive products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation.
• Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation.
• Identify on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and route them per procedures.
• Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe flow.
• Prepare packaging materials and shipment areas for timely outbound activity.
• Escalate non-standard handling or inventory issues for timely follow-up.

Mandatory local laws shall also prevail.* Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.* Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.* Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.* Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.* Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.* Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.**Education:*** High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.* Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.* Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.**Skills and knowledge:*** Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. * Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.* Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.* Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.* Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.* Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.* Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.* Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.* Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.* Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.* Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.* Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
