Job summary

Cardinal Health in Groveport, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and ship products with accurate order picking, packing, and timely fulfillment to customers.

You may cross-train in multiple areas, maintain a clean, safe workplace, and gain certification to operate material handling equipment. A high school diploma is preferred; you will lift up to 50 pounds and work in a 36–42°F environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Able and willing to work in 36°F-42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
• Follow directions and adapt to priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading/writing to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking, QC checks, packing, and shipment preparation.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Job Summary

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. No matter what you do at Cardinal Health, you make a difference. Our warehouse team members make it all happen. You will receive and fulfill orders so our customers can have the products they need to take care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow direction and change priorities

• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $22.10 per hour (includes shift differential)
