Job summary

Lansing Building Products LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Greenville, SC. You will greet customers, process pick tickets, and assist with loading and unloading trucks to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

You will use handheld RF scanners with the TWL Warehouse Management System to track products, verify orders, and maintain a clean, orderly facility. This role requires physical work with weights up to 70 lbs and typically runs 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM,

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and with customers.
• Experience with forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL).
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
• A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received
• Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Strong, positive attitude
