Job summary

U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand, is seeking a 1st Shift Yard Associate for the Claysburg, PA facility. 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday. You will load, unload, sort, stage, transport and handle products moving in and out of the warehouse. Starting pay rate is $18/hour.

Qualified candidates will operate forklifts, band and wrap products, read tickets and labels, follow safety procedures, work well in a team, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift and other machinery safely.
• Band, wrap, tape product as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow directions from supervisors and read safety alerts.
• Read tickets, SKU labels, and reports.
• Identify and move merchandise and handle weights up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a team and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products in the warehouse.
• Move products in and out of the facility while following procedures.
• Adhere to safety rules and work collaboratively with teammates.

U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand is currently looking for a 1st Shift Yard Associate, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, to join our Claysburg, PA facility. The majority of duties at this facility is protected from elements, under cover, or in enclosures. In this role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.

Starting Pay Rate is $18/hour.

Qualifications – A qualified candidate will:

• Safely operate forklift and other machinery
• Band, wrap, tape product
• Maintain work area and be organized
• Responding to public address system announcements, directions from supervisors and managers, warning alarms from other forklift drivers
• Walking and carrying merchandise
• Great attention to detail and accuracy - be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routine
• Identify and read tickets, SKU’s, UPC labels and reports
• Follow all safety procedures
• Work in a team environment
• Be able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbs
• Other duties may be assigned
