Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
• Ability to accurately track and manage stock levels.
• Proficient in order fulfillment procedures and packaging techniques.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including counting and tracking stock levels.
• Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
• Assist lead repair tech with minor welding machine repairs- washing & servicing units.
• Build and assemble product displays or packaging as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

If you have experience working in a warehouse environment and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, Meritus Texas wants to hear from you!

This is a critical role responsible for checking in freight, ensuring the packing slip matches the received product. You will also be responsible for pulling orders and helping out around the warehouse, but a majority of your daily job will be checking in freight and stocking it on the shelves.
