Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations using ShipHero WMS and a barcode scanner.
• Pack orders neatly and securely according to packaging standards and protect items in transit.
• Inspect received goods and put away stock in correct bin locations following guidelines.
• Replenish pick-face locations to prevent stockouts and assist with cycle counts.
• Stage packed orders for carrier handoff and ensure timely daily cutoff.
• Receive and sort returns, inspect eligibility, and update ShipHero WMS.

About The Role

As a Warehouse Associate at Viasox, you are at the heart of our customer experience. Every order a customer places — whether it's their first pair of diabetic socks or a repeat gift for a loved one — passes through your hands before it reaches their door. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders accurately and efficiently, while also supporting receiving, putaway, replenishment, and general warehouse upkeep.

This is a hands‑on, active role in a fast‑paced eCommerce fulfillment environment. You'll work closely with the Warehouse Team Lead and fellow associates to hit daily targets, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure every Viasox package leaves our facility looking great and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Picking & Packing

• Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations using ShipHero WMS and a barcode scanner.
• Pack orders neatly and securely in accordance with Viasox packaging standards, ensuring products are protected in transit.
• Apply correct shipping labels and verify order details before sealing packages.
• Participate in order batching and wave picking to maximize efficiency during high‑volume periods.
• Meet daily pick and pack productivity targets (units per hour) without sacrificing accuracy.
• Flag and report any mispicks, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies to the Team Lead immediately.

Receiving & Putaway

• Assist with unloading inbound shipments and verifying contents against packing slips.
• Inspect received goods for visible damage or packaging issues and report findings to the Team Lead.
• Scan and process received inventory into ShipHero WMS accurately and promptly.
• Put away stock in the correct bin locations, following warehouse slotting guidelines.
• Move pallets and freight safely and efficiently using a pump truck.

Replenishment & Inventory Support

• Replenish pick‑face locations as directed to prevent stockouts during active fulfillment shifts.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks as scheduled by the Team Lead.
• Maintain accurate bin locations by ensuring product is stored in the correct place after every putaway or replenishment task.
• Report low‑stock or out‑of‑stock conditions at pick locations to the Team Lead in real time.

Shipping Support

• Stage packed orders in the correct outbound area by carrier and service level.
• Assist with end‑of‑day carrier handoff, including sorting packages by carrier zone or route.
• Ensure all packages are manifested and ready for carrier pickup within the daily cut‑off window.
• Verify that no orders are left unpacked or unstaged at the close of the shift.

Returns Processing

• Receive and sort customer returns following Viasox's returns processing procedure.
• Inspect returned items for resale eligibility; segregate damaged or unsellable stock accordingly.
• Process return updates in ShipHero WMS and communicate any issues to the Team Lead or customer service team.

Warehouse Upkeep & Safety

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operating procedures.
• Participate in daily pre‑shift safety checks and team huddles.
• Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or near‑misses to the Team Lead immediately.
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping tasks, including aisle clearing, pallet disposal, and supply restocking.

What We're Looking For

Must‑Haves

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and WMS scan prompts in English.

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physical environment; ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance — fulfillment is a team effort, and every associate counts.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to take direction and adapt as priorities shift throughout the day.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Prior experience in a pick‑and‑pack, fulfillment, or eCommerce warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a pump truck or pallet jack (training provided if not).
• Basic comfort with mobile devices or handheld scan guns used in ShipHero (WMS) guided workflows.
