Qualifications

  • Requires a valid driver’s license; CDL helpful but not required.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong English reading/writing; keep legible logs in English.
  • Basic reading and math skills; ability to use measurements and calculations.
  • Able to safely operate hand, power, pneumatic tools, and tape measure.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team.
  • Overtime/weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse and log fuel dispensing.
  • Move or reposition trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.
  • Wash/clean, detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
  • Secure the facility and log movement of personnel and goods.
  • Assist in constructing crates and storage containers with pneumatic tools.
  • Adhere to safety practices for self and others.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate will assist in preparing orders for warehouse storage and organizing the warehouse by company or customer specifications for received orders. Will move, stock, scan, secure, and record inventory as needed. Will use hand and power tools, and powered equipment related to the storage or movement of items. Warehouse Associates at some locations will additionally perform custodial and/or detailing tasks.

  • Fuel diesel trucks arriving to the warehouse; keep appropriate logs for fuel dispensing.
  • Move or re-position trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.
  • Wash/clean, shine, and/or detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
  • Secure the facility and log incoming and outgoing movement of personnel.
  • Assist in the construction and assembly of crates and custom storage containers using pneumatic hand tools.
  • Adhere to safety practices with respect to self and others.
  • Housekeeping and custodial duties for the warehouse include but is not limited to: sweeping, empty garbage cans, cleaning bathrooms and break room areas.
  • Move machinery/equipment with various-sized forklifts, pallet jacks or other powered equipment as necessary for optimizing safety and organization.
  • Verify incoming equipment or items for storage. Offload incoming equipment, inspect for damage, complete all related paperwork or logs.
  • Retrieve stored machinery & equipment for loading contract trailers or onto company vehicles.
  • Tie down, strap and secure loads on company trailers.
  • Perform inventory and inventory control functions.
  • Maintain equipment/tool inventory in designated areas.
  • Assist riggers and field personnel as needed with respect to equipment, tools and other needs.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, And Education)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL helpful but not required.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Good use of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words; must be able to keep legible records and logs, in English.
  • Basic reading and mathematical calculations, including the use of multiplication, division, fractions, or decimals.
  • Ability to safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and read tape measure.
  • Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and be self-motivated.
  • Knowledgeable in equipment operation, including manual transmissions, or pneumatic or hydraulic tools and equipment.
  • Have a pleasant and customer-oriented demeanor and ability to build positive work relationships.
  • Overtime/weekend work is sometimes required of this position.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

This is very physical, hands-on work. A Warehouse Associate must be able to perform General Physical Activities — activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling or moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to work off the ground at varying heights and not be affected by moving machinery or parts. Work may vary between indoor, climate-controlled, or normal warehouse environment and non-temperature-controlled environment and/or outdoors in all types of weather, and over uneven ground or terrain.
