Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a warehouse associate to support our Frederick, MD location. You will compile orders, replenish and move merchandise, interact with customers, and operate a forklift. The role requires friendliness, organization, and a strong work ethic in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Full‑Time and Part‑Time positions are available. Candidates should have warehouse and customer service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience with heavy machinery or forklift preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D or ability to obtain them.
• Where permissible by state law, drug test may be required.

Your day will be spent checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers and operating a forklift. Pay Range
$17.00 - $21.00

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.
  

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
  

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Ability exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
