Job summary

Mattress Firm is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the supply chain by loading and unloading shipments, staging deliveries, and maintaining organized inventory. The role requires eye for detail and strong time management, with a typical shift from 1:30pm to 10pm and Thursdays and Fridays off.

Responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment, ensuring product quality, and assisting customer pickups while upholding safety and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries.
• Store all products in designated locations.
• Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
• Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
• Obtain appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
• Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
• May operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.
• Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash and cleaning the parking lot and entrance to the building.
• Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.
• Mop, sweep, and wash offices, bathrooms, warehouse floors, truck docks, and aisles to ensure cleanliness.
• Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal areas, and recycling materials.
• Clean and sanitize products per Company standard operating procedure.
• Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
• Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.

Education

Compensation:

Competitive pay range of $19.00-$20.50 per hour
