Job summary

Fiber Network Services Inc. seeks a Warehouse/logistics Associate to unload, load, and organize telecom equipment in our Fisherville, VA office.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping shipments, while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe work environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years related experience a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Forklift experience is required.
• CDL license is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Occasional weekend work or overtime as needed.
• Must pass a background and drug test.
• DOT physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unloading, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
• Processing: verifying product accuracy, signing for goods, and communicating with third parties.
• Storing: sorting, labeling, and organizing products for storage.
• Picking: preparing orders for fulfillment, including bundles.
• Packing: wrapping, labeling, and packing for shipping.
• Shipping: retrieving and preparing products for shipment and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Maintaining: inventory controls, quality standards, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Operating: warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order-picking machines.

Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems.

FNS is looking for a Warehouse/logistics Associate to help unload, load, and organize Telecom equipment in our Fisherville, VA office.

Job Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)

• Receiving: Unloading, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.

• Maintaining: Performing inventory controls, keeping quality standards high, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Operating: Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and order picking machines.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Capable of tracking inventory incoming and outgoing a plus
• CDL License is a plus
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to lift on a regular basis (max typical 50 lbs)
• Forklift experience a must
• Occasional weekend work or Overtime work as needed
• Able to pass a background and drug test
