Job summary

Singer Equipment Company in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries and update inventory records.
• Use computer/internet based system to receive, inventory, and ship equipment.
• Communicate with other departments via email/teams/phone as needed.
• Pick equipment from warehouse based on docs and assemble for delivery to sites.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations and operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Perform duties under general supervision and escalate complex issues.
• Other duties as needed by business demands.

Overview

This position is responsible for all warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Essential Functions

• Receiving & Inspection of all deliveries
• Use computer/internet based system to accurately receive, inventory & ship equipment
• Communicate via email/teams/phone (if required) with other departments inside Singer Kittredge
• Responsible for accurately picking equipment from warehouse based on provided documentation and assembling/building correctly for delivery to construction sites.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. (forklift & pallet jack)
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 2-4 years of experience
