Job summary

QXO is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts, load and unload materials, and maintain accurate inventory in outdoor conditions. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, documentation accuracy, and reliable transportation for early shifts.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required; warehouse experience preferred.

• Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Verify order contents and maintain pick tickets and inventory records.
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Keep work area clean and perform painting as needed.

What you'll do:

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
• Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
• Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
• Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
• Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting

What you'll bring:

• Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred
• Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours

Salary Range:

USD $20.45 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
