Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound freight, move merchandize to the sales floor, and assist across departments. You will operate a forklift, load products into customer vehicles, and help maintain safety standards in a fast-paced retail warehouse environment.

Candidate should have strong communication skills, retail experience preferred, and be able to work evenings and weekends. A background check is required as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming products from trailers and move to staging areas.
• Move freight to the sales floor and to departments as needed.

Compensation

• Saturday & Sunday weekend premium pay $2.50/hr
• Base pay up to $16.00/hr

We take into consideration the minimum requirements outlined in the job description, such as, training and experience, the position’s work location, required travel (if any), and external market conditions when determining the final salary for potential new hires.

Job Duties

The Warehouse Associate would assist with incoming freight, ensure that it reaches the sales floor, and other assigned duties.

This Can Include, But Is Not Limited To

• Unload incoming products from trailers in the dock area
• Move freight to the staging area
• Use a forklift
• Move/fill palletized products to various departments
• Transfer products from pallet to pallet
• Load product into customer’s vehicles
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Great communication skills
• Prior Retail experience preferred
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
• Able to pass a background check
