Job summary

Knight Electronics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping electronic products with accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

This position helps ensure orders are processed correctly and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn WMS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against orders.
  • Stock inventory in designated locations.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment.
  • Process outgoing shipments using WMS.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
  • Report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Support other warehouse tasks as needed.

Job description

Knight Electronics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping electronic products and components while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.


Key Responsibilities


  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

  • Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

  • Process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and shipping software.

  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.

  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational concerns to supervisors.

  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

  • Assist with other warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or inventory experience preferred.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.


Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 60 pounds.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

  • Capability to safely operate warehouse equipment and perform repetitive tasks.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
