Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, OH for a full-time, non-exempt role. The position offers hourly pay with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) plan. Responsibilities include safe warehouse operations, inventory organization, and delivering tools and supplies across Ohio.

Must be 18+ with at least six months in a warehouse setting and experience with forklift or pallet jack. CDL is preferred but not required.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Operate within a safety culture in all warehouse functions.
• Participate and contributes to Warehouse Operations team.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and standard setup of all warehouse inventory and equipment.
• Delivery of tools, equipment, and supplies to multiple locations in the Ohio market.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with others in a group, cooperate with others, and offer to help when needed.
• Loads delivery vehicles and assists employees that are picking up supplies.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Education & Experience

• At least six (6) months experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a forklift, pallet jack.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment.

Pre-Screen

License & Certifications:

• Valid driver's license required.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• RARE (less than 10%): crawling, sitting, climbing, climbing poles.
• OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): stooping, body twisting, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, climbing ladders, balancing.
• FREQUENT (up to 66%): sense of touch, manual dexterity, speaking clearly, hearing-speech range, walking, seeing distant, climbing on/off truck, gripping, lifting over 10-50 lbs., reaching, range of motion, depth perception, color vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs.
• CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): seeing, standing, reading.
