Job Description

Chemenergy Water Treatment, Inc. currently has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Associate with our Chemenergy Water Treatment team located and servicing in the Albany, NY area. This is an opportunity to join a growing company offering competitive base salary and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Ordering, receiving and planning: Orders must be received and planned, manufactured, labeled and shipped in 1 business day to all customers. Orders contain various products in various quantities. Work is fast‑paced and challenging.
  • Product manufacturing: Mix various raw materials to create our product. Work requires strength and stamina. Workers must be comfortable wearing a breathing apparatus which includes a lightweight body suit and air‑cleaning mask.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Clean finished products after manufacturing and prepare them for packaging.
  • Package products and label them with the correct label.
  • Prepare UPS labels or handle freight to push finished product orders outbound en route to the customer.
  • Receive raw materials and packaging supplies, verify and count materials received, compare actual to invoice, code items, store items in the proper place, and update paper or computer inventory system.
  • Organize the warehouse: Clean and return all items used to manufacture to their proper locations; organize raw materials after receiving inbound orders; organize product stock and place them in proper locations.
  • Perform salvage/recoup activities per standard operating procedures.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions from Warehouse manager.
  • Strong moral and work ethic. Ability to perform under time stress.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to track safety, quality and productivity data in English language.
  • Ability to complete training and master skills that are required by the position (including but not limited to Hazardous Material Safety and DOT training).
  • Strong attention to detail, good communicator and a team member.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
