Job summary

Poolcorp in Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately and safely receive/pull orders in a fast-paced environment. You will support the team and customers by preparing orders for delivery or pickup.

Daily duties include loading, inventory logging, audits, and safe forklift operation. We value reliability and physical stamina, with 18+ eligibility and prior warehousing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, up to 100 pounds.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Experience in distribution, warehousing or general labor preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Pull, fill, pack and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist in loading the delivery truck.
• Receive shipments and log into inventory.
• Maintain inventory through audits and coordinated communication.
• Operate forklift safely and maintain certification.
• Keep the facility clean, safe, and efficient.

Pay: $20- $22/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What to Expect?

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.

On a daily basis our Warehouse Associate:

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.

The compensation range for this position in IL is between $20.00 and $22.00 based on a full-time schedule. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills,qualificationsand experience.
