MUST HAVE PREVIOUS WAREHOUSE/DISTRIBUTION EXPERIENCE.

Schedule: M-F 9AM-5PM, some Saturdays.

Warehouse Associate Tasks

1. Perform material handling duties and maintain a safe working environment, including general housekeeping. Safety-oriented individuals with excellent attendance are encouraged to apply.
2. Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
3. Handle warehouse tasks such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
4. Move products within the plant as required.
5. Maintain housekeeping standards and follow related procedures.
6. Lift or move heavy objects as necessary.
7. Act as relief operator to cover breaks and vacations.
8. Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift.
9. Assist in unloading incoming raw materials from trucks.
10. Stack raw materials neatly in designated storage areas, ensure silo levels are adequate, test and approve incoming materials, and clean all screens after unloading.
11. Perform receiving duties including unloading inbound materials, processing shipments, stocking, handling customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a distribution or warehouse setting.
2. Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, farming, or military environment, or completed relevant technical training.
3. Willingness to adhere to safety rules, wear PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, etc.
4. Ability to work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy environments.
5. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours.
6. Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
7. Ability to read and understand written instructions and perform basic computer functions.
8. Basic math skills and ability to measure using the metric system.
9. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Basic English.
10. Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
