Schedule: M-F 9AM-5PM, some Saturdays.
Warehouse Associate Tasks
- Perform material handling duties and maintain a safe working environment, including general housekeeping. Safety-oriented individuals with excellent attendance are encouraged to apply.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Handle warehouse tasks such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, conducting inventory checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
- Move products within the plant as required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow related procedures.
- Lift or move heavy objects as necessary.
- Act as relief operator to cover breaks and vacations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Assist in unloading incoming raw materials from trucks.
- Stack raw materials neatly in designated storage areas, ensure silo levels are adequate, test and approve incoming materials, and clean all screens after unloading.
- Perform receiving duties including unloading inbound materials, processing shipments, stocking, handling customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, farming, or military environment, or completed relevant technical training.
- Willingness to adhere to safety rules, wear PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, etc.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy environments.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and perform basic computer functions.
- Basic math skills and ability to measure using the metric system.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Basic English.
- Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
