Description

Role Summary

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in delivering accurate, on-time orders and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and organization within the warehouse. This role supports customer satisfaction by ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped correctly while serving as a key quality checkpoint before products leave the facility.

Essential Job Functions

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or shipping documentation
  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
  • Store materials accurately in designated locations
  • Pick, pack, and label orders according to customer and shipping requirements
  • Prepare shipments for carrier pickup, including documentation and loading
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and reconciliation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of workplace safety

Value-Added Services

  • Set up and operate bagging equipment to package goods according to customer specifications
  • Assemble hoses and fittings based on customer requirements and quality standards
  • Deliver inventory to customer locations based on established replenishment requirements
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites
  • Communicate inventory needs, discrepancies, or quality concerns to internal teams
  • Initiate or support cycle counting activities as needed
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain required driving standards

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and shipping documentation

Education & Experience

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
  • Experience supporting VMI programs or customer site deliveries
  • Knowledge of shipping services
  • Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory driving record

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

The warehouse environment may vary from quiet to moderately noisy.Physical requirements, to perform the essential job functions include:

  • Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle materials and tools
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to work in a physically active, fast-paced environment
